Rev. Andrew Conard serves as pastor at McPherson First United Methodist Church in Kansas, continuing a family legacy of Methodist ministry spanning five generations. He discovered his calling to ministry during his senior year at Pittsburg State University, where he earned a BS in Biology in 2003. After completing his Master of Divinity at Wesley Theological Seminary in 2006, he married Nicole, also a UMC pastor, in her hometown in North Carolina. Together they have two children.
His ministry journey has included serving congregations in Leawood, El Dorado, Berryton, and Topeka, focusing on spiritual growth guidance and church organizational health. Drawing inspiration from biblical stories like the Prodigal Son and Good Samaritan, Conard emphasizes inclusive worship, racial reconciliation, and seeks to help individuals and churches thrive spiritually. He maintains balance through meditation, gardening, and physical activity while actively seeking new challenges for personal growth and deepening his connection with God and community.
