Due to dangerous winter conditions and an active Blizzard Warning for McPherson, First UMC held worship online only on Sunday, January 5. An abbreviated service was streamed at 8:30 AM through the church website. The church building, including all offices, remained closed Monday and Tuesday with the school district being closed. All scheduled activities were canceled during this closure. The decision prioritized safety during the extreme winter weather conditions.
