Your annual giving and your capital campaign giving serve different purposes. Both are important, and together they shape our church’s future.
Ministry: Your annual gift is the foundation that makes all ministry possible. These flexible contributions support the Ministry Funding Plan, funding worship, staff, children’s and youth programs, pastoral care, building operations, and community outreach. When you give to Ministry, church leaders can direct resources where they’re needed most.
Tomorrow First Capital Campaign: Construction is underway to replace heating and cooling systems throughout our facilities. Your Tomorrow First commitment creates comfortable, energy-efficient spaces for worship, ministry, and community gatherings for generations to come. Over 110 households have committed more than $1.84 million toward this $2.7 million project, and your commitments are becoming reality right now.
Neighbor Assistance: Support McPherson neighbors facing financial hardship through emergency assistance, food pantry supplies, and diaper ministry. Your gift provides practical help to families in our community when they need it most.
Setting up a monthly recurring gift is the easiest way to support ministry consistently throughout the year. Automatic giving means your generosity continues even when you’re traveling or unable to attend, and it makes personal budgeting simpler too. More of your gift supports ministry when you give directly from your bank account (ACH), which has the lowest processing fees.
Three ways to set up recurring gifts:
During Worship: Give in person during our Sunday worship services at 8:30 AM or 10:15 AM. Offering plates are available as you enter or leave the sanctuary.
By Mail: Send checks to McPherson First United Methodist Church, 1200 E Kansas Ave, McPherson, KS 67460. Please include a note indicating your fund preference if you’d like your gift directed to a specific area of ministry.
